Bite of the Week

The Harvest Brunch
Brunch, but make it farm-to-table. Crispy roasted roots hash with baked eggs, fluffy sourdough pancakes piled with buttery pears, and a bright Honeycrisp salad. The freshest highlights earns its spot on the plate this week!

Harvest Brunch:

Roasted Root Hash, Sourdough Pancakes with Caramalized Pears & fresh mixed greens salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 Murasaki sweet potatoes, diced

  • 2 golden beets, peeled and diced

  • ½ head cauliflower, cut into small florets

  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges

  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed

  • Olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika

  • 4 eggs

  • Fresh herbs like cilantro or chives to finish (if you have some on hand)

Method:

Toss the sweet potatoes, beets, cauliflower, red onion and garlic with oil and seasoning. Roast at 425°F for 30–35 minutes, flipping once, until crisp at the edges. Make 4 wells in the hash, crack an egg into each, and bake 6–8 more minutes until the whites set. You can finish with fresh cilantro, fresh chives or green onions if you have some on hand.

Sourdough pancakes with caramelized pears:

Ingredients:

  • Sourdough pancake mix, prepared per the bag’s instructions

  • 2 pears, sliced

  • 2 tbsp butter, a drizzle of honey or maple, and a pinch of cinnamon

  • Sea salt to finish

Method:

Sauté the pears in the butter with the cinnamon for 4–5 minutes until golden, then add the honey or maple. Cook the pancakes and spoon the warm pears on top. Finish with a tiny bit of sea salt.

Mixed Greens with Honeycrips Apple:

Ingredients:

  • Mixed greens from Blue Sky Farms

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple

  • Your favorite dressing

Method:

Keep this one simple, just grab your favorite dressing, slice some apple slices thin and add them to the gorgeous mixed greens in this week’s box!

WHAT IF I CAN’T PICK UP?

  • Option A — Delivery: Get your box delivered for an extra $15 fee. (If you live more than 8 miles from Westy’s — delivery fee may be slightly higher.) Please note: Items are perishable. Westy’s is not responsible for boxes left outside and not stored promptly. You will be notified when your box would arrive at your door on Saturday morning!

  • Option B — Send a Friend: Send a friend or neighbor to grab it for you! Just send us a text with your name and the name of the person picking up on your behalf. You can also gift your box to a friend if you’d like—just make sure they pick it up on time!

CANCELATIONS: A single box order cancellation can only be made within 24 hours of purchase. Unfortunately, Season Pass boxes cannot be refunded, as all curated goods are ordered for you in advance for us to maintain adequate fulfillment of everyone’s boxes.

WHAT IF I HAVE A SEASON PASS BUT HAVE TO SKIP SOME WEEKS? We would recommend you gift the box away if you can’t make it, to a family member or friend, if that’s not an option for you, go for the A La Carte option.

DISCLAIMER: Unclaimed boxes cannot be refunded due to the perishable nature of the product. If you do not select “delivery” or “send a friend”, Westy’s will happily gift your box to someone in need on your behalf, nothing will go to waste!
