Westy’s Tasting Events
As Westy’s is getting started, we’re doing tasting events across NW Peoria in private settings to share the vision and purpose behind our venture. We share the stories and origin behind each dish, and why we believe our community need to rally around real food again.
What are Westy’s Tasting Events?
Our tasting events are free of charge. No, that’s not a typo.
We believe in coming together as a community any chance we get. Many of these tasting events have been to highlight our offerings and mission, but hosts have used the event to gather small business owners from our community over a meal, or simply bring foodies together to discuss health & wellness needs in our neighborhoods. Every single evening has been nothing short of magical, and at the end of the night, the host can choose to support Westy’s through tips and sometimes donations from their invitees! All of the funds go towards our “storefront fund” as we actively look for Westy’s storefront home in NW Peoria!
Though we’re not a catering service, what you can expect from the evening is the Westy’s team displaying a 6-8 course meal, served in small plates, highlighting organic food that’s been locally, thoughtfully sourced. We give you the story behind the food and where it’s from, and why we choose to serve it. The food is prepared and cooked in real-time at the host kitchen, everything fresh, nothing frozen, everything from scratch. That’s how we roll.

Think of teachers, nurses, first responders, police officers, health & wellness coaches, small business owners. These crucial members of our community need to get healthy, stay healthy to do what they do best! Help us get connected with individuals and groups who would be interested in our food & juice!
Sponsor those in need through us, as we get going we’ll be looking to provide “sponsored” juices to cancer warriors and others who are battling with other wellness issues. We believe that giving them this boost will let them know that there’s a business out there that’s got their health and wellbeing in mind!
