Thanou, or T as he’s simply referred to, is led by his love for great food and is passionate about meeting the local needs of NW Peoria regarding healthier food options, which has led him to create Westy’s. He’s designed and provided creative solutions for small and large organizations alike for over 10 years, helping successfully grow their business and brand. He’s also been in key creative roles for one of the top 5 largest churches in America for over 7 years. The next chapter of his professional and creative work is executing the vision he’s had for a place like Westy’s in the great community of NW Peoria, Arizona. He hopes to help families get inspired about food again, challenge the way they’ve always viewed organic food, and disturb the status quo of so many households for the better! He’d love to create a positive impact in homes for the next generation to understand the importance of eating and enjoying REAL food. When work is put away, he delights in spending time with his wife Alison of 17 years and teaching their 10 and 8-year-olds to draw, cook, golf, play tennis and build Lego. He’s always experimenting in the kitchen and sharing food with others is one of his great joys in life.

Alison

Alison’s a West Valley native, a graduate of NAU who’s taught Science in the Peoria School District for over 7 years. She’s an incredible mom of 2 active little foodies, and juggles all kinds of things big and small to make her house a home! She enjoys gardening, creating bouquets with flowers growing in her backyard, teaching her kiddos “sciency” things on the regular, and is an enthusiast (and avid researcher) of all things to detox the house of any harmful chemicals. Alison is a major driver of helping Westy’s be as sustainable and responsible as possible every step of the way. Most of the family-centric products and efforts we deploy come from her brilliant brain.

Ellie

Ellie’s Arizona native and has worked at NW Peoria’s Nekter Juice Bar for 2 and a half years, most recently as a manager. Though she loved her time there, in her next career move, she’s joined Westy’s to learn how to run a small business, all the while enjoying the craft of working with organic produce and serving delicious goods. She aspires to teach others to incorporate healthy habits whether it be food or exercise into their everyday life with the goal of owning her own fitness and health business someday. She loves cooking and eating authentic food, hitting the gym, hanging out with family, and walking her miniature golden doodle named Frijole. Ellie is a Fitness Coach at her local F45 in Anthem.

Erick

Erick was born in Michigan but grew up in Peoria, Arizona. He’s a recent graduate of GCU and obtained a degree in Biology/pre-physical therapy along with a minor in nutrition. At Westy’s his highlights include working and exploring new foods (and juice), learning how to craft tasty dishes, and getting to eat them! He enjoys both playing and coaching soccer. His future goal is to help others whether it is through fitness, nutrition, or recovery, be at their very best, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Brandon

Brandon is an Arizona native and joined the team in the Spring of 2023. He loves the outdoors, helping others, and is a highly skilled and experienced house painter. He loves animals and loves growing plants, especially ones he can eat. Brandon enjoys hanging out with his newly adopted pup Riley on his days off.

Haven

Haven is an Arizona native and is a full-time student at GCU. She’s working towards a nursing degree so that she can fulfill her calling to care for people and their health on a professional level. She’s passionate about the outdoors and loves hiking, camping, fly fishing, and traveling. In her free time, you can catch her working out, spending time with her friends and family, and fixing up her old truck with her grandpa.

Jack

Jackson is our Westie, he loves hugs, naps, and wild salmon treats from Trader Joe’s. He’s always up for a jog or a stroll with his humans. You might catch him at our pop-ups once in a while.
